Are you frustrated with trying to figure out how to market your book, or are you a new author that just isn't sure how to get your book in front of readers?
Look no further! You're in the right place, and I welcome you to the Virtual Book Tour Café!
Book marketing is an essential part of being an author, and sometimes a very frustrating process. How do I know? I know, because I used to be in the very spot you're in right now. When I first became a published author, I had absolutely no idea what I was supposed to do next. My publisher, which turned out to be a vanity press and we will let them remain unnamed, misled me in so many ways. When I think back to those times, it almost makes my head spin. It was in those times though, that I met many other authors that were feeling the same way you may be feeling this very second. It was good to know that I was not alone, but I was so mad about my lack of knowledge, that my publishing company didn't help any of us or give us any clue as to what was next.
That's when my real journey began. I started researching, and learning as much as I could get my hands on. When I had some sort of clue, I came across the term, virtual book tour. It was actually in my quest, that I met an author that was touring via a virtual book tour, and she was inviting me to her event. Well, I just had to know more. What was this and how did it work? I was so amazed at this process, yet at the same time I was very excited to finally have found a way to help myself and my fellow authors that were in the same boat I was.
I researched this further, and when I thought I had a good grasp on what had to be done for a virtual book tour, I invited all of my author friends to partake, and support each other by setting up and organizing blog stops on each others blogs. The response was so huge, that in April of 2010, I organized tours for over 30 authors.
This my friends, was the birth of the Virtual Book Tour Café.
You see? I understand where you're coming from. I was once in your shoes, and completely unsure of what to do next, where to go to get my book in front of readers, or even what the heck becoming a published author really meant. You may be asking yourself, how can a book tour help me and my book? Here is what you can expect when you book a tour:
I'm not going to promise you that you will make a huge amount of sales, or even that you will become a number one bestselling author within a month because you've booked a tour. What I will promise you is coaching on marketing strategies, not only for your book, but for anything you endeavor. I will promise you guidance, giving you proven steps for success. I will promise you exposure for your book, putting it in front of readers, even long after your tour has ended.
Most importantly, I promise to get your marketing started. Fill out your information in the form below to find out more...

"Before touring with BK Walker and her VBT Cafe, I wanted to find an effective means of viral marketing. Because Luke’s Tale is newly published, I needed a method to get it into lots of hands, so to speak. Why? Because I knew if people read it, they would love it and spread the word. Within two days after my book tour, 2,001 people had downloaded the Kindle version of the book. I’d say that’s an amazing accomplishment. Participants in the VBT Tweeted and Facebooked info about both the tour and the book. My Facebook fan page followers increased by 78 percent, as has my Twitter followers. I highly recommend working with the Virtual Book Tour Café." –Carol McKibben, www.carolmckibben.com. Luke’s Tale available on Amazon.
"I am an indie audio book producer who used Virtual Book Tours to promote my latest project, Yikes! Another Quirky Audio Book. BK was very courteous, professional and responsive in the way she handled my account. There were many unexpected surprises that accompanied my tour including a beautiful, full-color media kit assembled by BK. Additionally, all three of the people who won copies of Yikes! posted honest reviews on Amazon.com."~Adele Park, Yikes! Another Quirky Audiobook
